Crosslink Policies

Environmental, Health and Safety Policy and Principles

Crosslink associates and our contracted partners are expected to be environmentally responsible and to conduct all work practices in a safe manner in accordance with established policies and procedures. We strive for an injury free workplace and minimize environmental impact through implementation of programs in our facilities, our neighbors, our communities, and the environment. Where existing statutes and agency regulations are not adequate, we will set our own standards consistent with this policy. We will encourage recycling, energy efficiency, conservation practices and economic resource recovery. We frequently report to the Board of Directors our compliance with these EH&S initiatives.

Corporate Governance

Crosslink reinforces stakeholder confidence in the company in three different ways: utilizing an independent board of directors who meets their responsibilities by being prepared and probing in a constructive way, the use of an independent auditor, and an experienced management team. When these various independent skills sets are combined, it provides assurance to the stockholders and to U.S. government agencies that our financial statements are accurate, disclosures provide the appropriate transparency, and that each transaction has been completed without known conflict of interest.

Intellectual Property Protection

Crosslink supports the effective protection and legal enforcement of intellectual property rights, including patent protection for fine chemicals. Our industry depends on this protection, which enables the innovator of a new product application an exclusive position for a short period of time to develop, introduce and modify the technology to meet the specific needs of a given market. Without this IP protection, companies would not be able to recoup their millions of investment dollars. Lack of strong intellectual property enforcement would have a detrimental impact on the fine-chemicals industry's ability to bring new technologies to local and regional customers.

In addition, Crosslink acknowledges the importance of international efforts to improve and harmonize intellectual property protection globally. We continue to support international trade agreements that facilitate the implementation of effective patent protection for fine chemicals and the World Trade Organization (WTO) rulings in the area of intellectual property protection.

Immigration Compliance

Crosslink is committed to employing only United States citizens and aliens who are authorized to work in the United States and does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of citizenship, national origin, race or gender.
