ST. LOUIS?(Feb. 22, 2005)-Crosslink, an innovative provider of solutions to unique customer-specific applications using advanced organic materials, plans to increase its workforce in the next eighteen months, creating nearly 20 highly technical jobs for Missourians. The expansion of its St. Louis facility and the creation of a new pilot facility in Springfield, Mo. have led to the addition of seven new jobs to date this year.
"Crosslink is growing. We have already added several new positions and expect to double our workforce in 2005 alone," said Brent St. John, Crosslink CEO. ?"We also anticipate adding additional jobs in 2006 as Missouri continues building its technology and biosciences industries."
The expansion of Crosslink in St. Louis, set to be complete in April, includes five new wet labs. An additional 8,000 square feet is anticipated to be added in the near future. The first employee hired for the Springfield, Mo. location, opening this month, will work with Southwest Missouri State University scientists on a project for the Department of Defense. The pilot location in Springfield, Mo. is a precursor for a full facility in the new Jordan Valley Innovation Center (JVIC). Crosslink expects to hire six new employees at this location in 2006.
