Moisture Stability

Crosslink EMPAC™ is inherently hydrophobic, one of its  most exciting advantages over current coating chemistries. Moisture and humidity to which capacitors are exposed during manufacturing and in practical use in the field bear no effect on its conductivity. Accelerated aging tests on thin film samples consistently outperform polythiophene (PEDOT). After 100 hours at 85% RH and 85°C, Crosslink EMPAC coatings experience little to no change in conductivity.
